Etihad Rail was established with the mandate of overseeing the development, construction, and operation of the UAE’s national freight and passenger railway network. Part of the ‘Projects of the 50’, the National Railway Network is the largest project to consolidate the strength of the union for the next fifty years.
تأسّست شركة قطارات الاتحاد بهدف الإشراف على تطوير وبناء وتشغيل شبكة السكك الحديدية الوطنية لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة للبضائع والركاب. وتندرج الشبكة الوطنية للسكك الحديدية تحت مظلة "مشاريع الخمسين"، وتعدُّ المشروع الأكبر أهمية في تعزيز قوة الاتحاد للخمسين عاماً المقبلة.
Joint 238-kilometer railway project between the UAE and Oman that will link the Sohar Port to the UAE National Rail Network. This project symbolizes the historical relations between the two countries and encapsulates the hopes and aspirations for the Gulf’s industrial and economic future. It serves as a tangible manifestation of both countries’ commitment to modernisation, connectivity, and sustainability.
مشروع سكة حديدية مشترك بين دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة وسلطنة عُمان، يمتد طوله إلى 238 كيلومتر، وسيعمل على ربط ميناء صُحار بشبكة السكك الحديدية الوطنية لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة. ويؤكد هذا المشروع على متانة وعمق العلاقات التاريخية بين البلدين، ويعكس الآمال والتطلعات المستقبلية لدول الخليج صناعيًا واقتصاديًا. كما يُعد المشروع دليلًا واضحًا على التزام البلدين بالتطوير والحداثة والترابط والاستدامة.
